Japan's Yubu industry will increase and expand the capacity of caprolactam within five years

Japan's Yubu industry recently said that the company plans to build new caprolactam and polybutadiene rubber plants in the next five years, and expand the capacity of existing plants in the near future

according to the market forecast of Yubu industry, the global demand for caprolactam and polybutadiene rubber will maintain a strong growth trend. In order to meet the market demand, the company will debottleneck the caprolactam plants in Sakai, Japan and Thailand, so as to increase the annual production capacity of the product by 10000 ~ 20000 tons, and plans to build a new caprolactam plant with a production capacity of 150000 tons/year in Thailand; For polybutadiene rubber products, the company will first expand the existing plant in Chiba, Japan, by 10000 ~ 20000 tons/year, and also plans to invest 10billion yen (116million US dollars) to build another 70000 tons/year polybutadiene plant

Yubu industry is in the leading position in the world in the production of caprolactam and polybutadiene rubber. In order to further enhance the competitiveness of its products in the world, the company decided to continue to strengthen the production of these two products, not to increase the position by increments, but to blindly choose the industry chain based on the so-called high cost performance. At present, the global caprolactam production capacity of Yubu is 3, and the mechanical equipment is essentially the same 80000 tons/year. The production bases are distributed in Japan, Thailand and Spain; With the commissioning of the polybutadiene rubber project of the joint venture in Nantong, China this year, the polybutadiene rubber production capacity of the company in the world has reached 217000 tons/year, and the units are mainly distributed in Chiba, Japan and Thailand
